In Colle Val d'Elsa crystal is not seen as a plane business, on the contrary it is a real way of life.
All this led to the foundation of the Union of Crystal in Colle di Val d'Elsa: an institution whose aim is to promote passion for crystal world wide, besides organising exhibitions and promotions as to create a real identity for Colligian crystal.
The most recent identity took the shape of a brand showing the head of a horse with a blazing mane: the horse is the symbol of towns while the flame recalls the fire of kilns, where crystal is fused.
But this brand must become more than a plain symbol: a guarantee for dealers and customers aimed to ensure that crystal is of the highest quality such as the D.O.C. brand in the wine-market.
